Love to Dance

Description of Adult Dance Classes (Offered in 12 Class Sessions; Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer)

Hip Hop (for ages 18 and up)
A blend of today's high-energy "street style" movement, this exciting dance style is based on the technique of Jazz with added flare and pizzazz! This style of dance has been very sought after by teens, preteens and the "young at heart." The style boasts that everyone is capable of taking part and having fun, but will focus on clean technique. . Dancers should expect to receive fast paced progressions and choreography each week.

Sizzlin' Tap and Jazz Workout (for ages 18 and up)
This class is an intense dance work out for all levels. Warm up incorporates Pilates, yoga, and calisthenics which enhance strength. Fun jazz dance combinations and unique choreography are introduced each week. Tap steps such as the shim sham, time steps, pick-ups, grab-offs, toe taps, heel digs and shuffles are all incorporated into both traditional and unique combinations. This class will have you screaming "ALL THAT JAZZ!!!"

Washington DC Ballet Workout (for ages 18 and up)
This is a classical Ballet class with a twist. Warm up incorporates Pilates, Yoga, and Calisthenics which enhances strength to non traditional ballet music. The traditional Ballet bare work and easy-to-follow choreography is always a crowd favorite. Walk taller and increase your flexibility while getting a great cardio workout. This class is a great class for both the beginner and advanced adult.
